FIRST AID AT SCHOOL

A course for everyone in your school community

This one-day program is designed to update the skills and knowledge to provide first aid in a school community. It includes a CORE module and a PLUGIN module to suit the specific needs of your group.

We come to you and deliver our course at your school. All our courses are trainer-led that include practical, hands-on learning activities and engaging scenarios.

CLASS & CAMPUS

This plugin is designed for staff who work in a frontline role, working face-to-face with groups of students in a classroom or on-campus situation.

It's a balanced program, designed to challenge participants in group discussios, team-based activities and workshops. It is focussed on responding to life-threatening medical emergencies and common injuries that can happen in a school community.

Suitable for classroom teachers and on-campus staff

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 Provide first aid

HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting

ACTIVE & OUTDOORS

Designed for teams who work in active or outdoor roles within your school community.

It an active and high-energy program, designed to challenge participants in team-based activities.
Focussed on sport-related injuries and patient care in outdoor emergencies, this includes session on assessment, strapping & taping of soft tissue injuries, advanced small wound care and patient evacuation techniques.

Suitable for PDPHE, sports coaches and outdoor education staff.
Also suitable for outdoor facilities & maintenence teams.

LEADERS & SUPPORT

Designed for teams who work behind the scenes to provide leadership and support services to students and frontline staff within your school community.

It's an interactive and immersive program, designed to empower participants with realistic simulations.
The simulations present a 'big-picture' approach, with a focus on the support needs and leadership challenges required during a school-wide emergency or serious first aid incident.

Suitable for senior staff, heads of department, executive and leadership teams
Also suitable for staff working in health care, pastoral care, support service or school security roles
